The great boreal forest is our next destination. Our path will follow the old Canadian National Railway. Now, it is now a multi-level, multi-option path.
Three hyperloop tubes run under the old tracks. The railway tracks are described as an energetic child bounding left and right. The hyperloop follows like a teenager on a smartphone – adjusting slowly.
Above the ground is the Great Cycling Trail, our access to the infinite Boreal Forest.
We are taking the Turquoise Line down the Hudson Bay coast to Moose River. We will have a cycling stage following the Black Spruce Line to Toronto. That will be a test run for our greatchallenging cycling trip.
We have hours of travel through the ultrafast hyperloop immediately ahead of us.
A positive aspect of ultrafast travel is you can go down into the tubes (in the Arctic Tundra) and come out in another ecosystem the Hudson Plains).
A negative aspect is travel sickness as your pod slowly sways around bend after bend.
But we find comfort in the fact that there will be a sundown at Moose River. And there will be songbirds breeding. On a summer night, we may get a good rest.
