I started with these two electric vehicles because the main point about them is their batteries.

It takes a lot of energy to manufacture one of these, especially to make their massive batteries. The energy comes from a grid, and the energy for that grid runs mostly on fuels. For them to be ‘green’ they must be used for many a mile.

I heard, on YouTube, Elon Musk talking about these issues. And he is confident that his company is on the path to addressing them, and that the we will (fulfill the promises of the future).
