The stunning departure of our packhorse has changed our plans. We had to sell some of our stuff and backtrack down Mount Tronador. We got on a sailboat to help us get to Petrohue, at the base of the Osorno Volcano.
With a forecast for one day of clear weather, we were lucky to get a catamaran Peulla on the shore of Todos los Santos Lake. Perhaps we should have followed this historical waterway first. It is far beyond monotonous life.
