Slate: The weather is calling for severe storms in the Bering Sea. With our small craft, we don’t want to risk capsizing. So, Mac gets his wish – landlocked for a few days. 

Eugen Douglass: We are on a radial station of the Siberia White Line, the base camp of Mt. Gorely. Some of us are going to exercise our sea legs by hiking up to the crater of the volcano. 

Hyung: The ocean is still a bit cold for water sports. But there is fair weather inland. Let’s see what we can see.
