3 Wheelers

When I was writing about solid state batteries, I noted that a bike or electric scooter can work with them. Solid state batteries development is not at the scale of a heavy car, but could work at the scale of a scooter.

These guys are manufacturing 3 wheelers that could be combined with solid state batteries, I think. And they have a point about the safety issues with bicycles.

From my looks into electric vehicles, I found that there are some benefits to them that were not expected. One of them is the kind of torque that dragsters enjoy. Some new electric cars can accelerate from 0 to 60 in less than 3 seconds. In the first few moments of this video, on the three wheeler, Kirsten Dirksen experiences this. (I don’t think she was actually hitting 60)

Another idea that I found out about electric vehicles is that you design the chassis to incorporate the batteries, and then you can build many types of frames around it. These guys also have that idea. They named one of their configurations to rhyme with ‘Terminator’. Futuristic.

  1. Nice post. I learn something totally new and challenging on sites I stumbleupon everyday. It will always be helpful to read articles from other writers and use something from other sites.
