The Golden Gate Bridge is one of the world’s most recognizable city entrances, perhaps the briskest. But we were well prepared. Our recumbent trikes are perfect for face recognition cameras. And our sleeping bags did the trick against the wind.
We are staying in a ‘lego home’ on a steep San Francisco street. These homes are stacked up the hill ,one apartment partially on top of another.
Inside the lego, there are fully enclosed living quarters. Additionally, the space that is open to the sky is a greenhouse. So these units are uniquely closed and open.
The wives of Tong and Keith had been planning our stay in San Francisco. And San Francisco did not disappoint. There are more choices of great food than anywhere else we have been.
