We sold almost all of our possessions. In exchange, we have wet suits, surf wax/ fire starter, rash guard, board shorts, aloe, and a wet/ dry bag. We have footwear for the water, beach, and bikes. Of course, we all have our own stuff, like Ann’s sarong.
With these in our possession, the lure of the ocean bekons, cowabunga! Here are some concerns:
Sharks. They are one of nature’s greatest and oldest creations. Sharks care also dangerous because there is less of their preferred food. Still, scanners will probably tell us if there are any in the water. So we should be able to exit promptly.
The sand. We are taking steps to minimize it. For example, wearing earplugs and high boots, carrying baby powder, and our mesh bags.
The power of the ocean. We will stay together and analyze the currents before surfing. The wild lands are not well guarded, so we must fend for ourselves before calling a drone.
