It has been my task to correspond on the internet for Eugene Douglass as he and his friends fulfill their dreams of exploring the wild lands.
This group mostly traveled a path that is still inhabitable, even after the global changes. There were great forests of the Earth, the Primorye, the Boreal, and parts of the Amazon Rainforest. They trekked through prairies and steppes, and they biked through some majestic mountain ranges, the Rockies and Andes.
The bowl that was overflowing has been given space inside for growth. New ecosystems formed. The barren lands of a harvested field are blossoming.
Uninhibited, wildlife found their habitat. This group was attacked by bears, stampeded by bison. Walruses stabbed at their boat. In between these encounters were chats with marine animals.
This tour has had a tremendous impact on this group. And with Mac on the mend, they are memories they will all hold dear, along with the images of the dense beauty of the natural world.
