Condor Gliders

We woke up to a cold morning at our camp by Laguna de Los Tres Panorama. As we were warming up with coffee, Cerro Fitz Roy was illuminated awesomely by the sunrise, looking like a giant campfire. Wow!
We hiked back down.
The next day we had a flight.
In the steppes, on the outskirts of El Chaltén, is a kind of aerial conveyance system. This system consists of electric planes and an electric plane launcher. The energy comes from the town’s power grid.
Christine, Tonya, Ann, and Eugene Douglass were in first. They got launched into the air with an AI pilot. The second group was Hyung, Keith, Slate, and Jack.
These condor gliders are extraordinarily quiet and have a light electric motor sealed inside. We flew across the desert. The view had magnificent glaciers, such as the Perito Moreno Glacier.
We landed in Amarga, where a line of tourists was ready to be launched on a return flight.
