Keeping Cool

Well, it’s been too hot for camping. We have mostly been spending our time underground, cooking and going to the spa. We made a couple of early morning excursions to the lookout over Cache Lake and along the Whiskey Rapids trail.
So much time cooking. This is an opportunity to cook for our Greenland friends, to share some low-carb recipes: cauliflower pizza, cauliflower fried rice, vegetable foil packets, tofu stew.
There is an ethical grey area about producing eggs that we used. The eggs were produced by chickens brooding on the ground level of vertical greenhouses. Facial recognition opens a trap door for the chickens to enter and exit the greenhouse. When roosters hatch, they are fixed, so they do not reproduce.
