In a previous post, https://wildlandstour.com/being-goodish/ I showcased a TED talk about giving individuals room to grow ethically.
I am still moved by this talk and I wonder if we could give all of humanity space to grow peacefully. Things are so tight with 8 billion people, and our institutions are so large, that we have not been able to respond to the urgent issues of today.
I was listening to George Monbiot, https://youtu.be/-aiZ61mknno and he mentioned this idea of producing meat without raising livestock. The beginnings of this technology is shown in the video above.
Give people worldwide a decent life in the future. There could be less pollution. We could be living alongside a wild, natural earth. There could be enough space for us to live, enough time for us to contemplate things. Let us learn from our mistakes and be able to respond to them. That is a dream I will hold on to.
