Luau

Keith was getting antsy. It’s November, and we should be going south. But we have time for a luau and to surf the Lower Trestles.
Z and Tulsi are surfing with Eugene Douglass and Slate. It’s a gnarly demonstration by Eugene Douglass, who sees the board fly over himself, a complete wipe-out. Slate balances his great length over the wave, impressing Z.
Hyung and Keith do some kiteboarding, with Ann tagging along. They maintain the mood using surfboards. None of them are professionals. But with Hyung, our master sailor leading the way, they got some serious hang time. Beyond the big waves, they sustained some tacks.

Everyone is supposed to bring something to eat at a luau, but we are empty. Tulsi has plenty of friends who contribute, though. It is a real gathering and a great time.
