I was working at a hotel as a barback 30 years ago. Those years were when I first became concerned about global warming. When the topic of nuclear energy came up, my stance was, as bad as nuclear radiation is, nuclear energy is better for us than fossil fuels.

There is a fear here in Korea of the nuclear fallout from the Fukushima nuclear disaster. I also saw the Netflix documentary about Chernobyl. Still, I am for taking the risk, and I still support nuclear energy.

That must show how bleak the alternatives are.
