Slow Acclimation

Eugene Douglass is under the weather, so we are taking it slow. We spend days doing qigong to strengthen our chi, and playing ice hockey on the lake.

We’ve already rented abominable tricycles. And we are already getting accustomed to them by riding them around on the ice. They have great stability and wind protection.

There is always more to do to prepare. Mostly though, we meditate on what we know about the elements and imagine ourselves overcoming them.
