Serengeti

Eugene Douglass mustered as much courage as possible. The group exited stop 23 of the Noble Red Line into the Serengeti.
We are between two rainy seasons, and the grass is green. It is the beginning of the great migration of wildebeests and zebras.
We are safely in the hands of the Maasai people. In history, they are warriors living in balance with big cats.
Ethan is our host. He told us that he has plenty of experience safeguarding travelers like ourselves.
We are invited into the dining tent to try a meat broth, maize, and beans with cafe au lait. It’s not sweet, but not bland, either. Ethan explains that a keto diet prevents his people from becoming ill.
We retire into the tents that we will use during our travels here.
