Tour Tweets 14. Stop 14, North American Turquoise Line.

Slate: This was the first time we definitely needed our motor. We were coming around a boulder, headed towards shore. There, infront of us, was an iceberg full of walruses. So we came about again but ended up beached in very shallow water. The only thing to do was to reverse the course. But this directed us straight back into the walruses. They were enraged. And before we could escape, a male walrus took a chunk out of our plastic boat.

Keith: We have stopped at a hyperloop town, #34 NA Turquoise Line. We fortunately found the material we needed to get our boat fixed. We are getting a bit of rest. Then, we sail even further north, to Svalbard.

Ann: It is our privilege to share this shoreline with such massive mammals.

Tong: I want to thank our two great skippers who have been navigating these challenging waters 24 hours a day. And, thanks to Eugene for setting up the heated dark room where we sleep.

Maxine: Norðr tack we go..
