Tour Tweets 16. Stop 14, North American Turquoise Line

Slate: We had a sound sleep on our first day in Greenland. It is good to be back on land. Not that we lost our footing. Some of us (Jack) just feel a bit stronger. Our gracious hosts made a delicious meal of muskox and cabbage. They cooked the meat in a pan with cabbage, potatoes, and spices. 

Tong: This barren, ice-filled land once supported sporadic herds of caribou and muskox. Very few predators were this far north. Now with climate change, there are more grazers. And the majority of predators in Greenland are humans.

Keith: Hunting and fishing are a way of life in Greenland. At our next stop, radial stop number 5, we will be testing our strength with some hiking and rafting.
