Portland

In the peloton riding to Portland, there was a good vibe. Feeling outdoors satisfied, many are returning to the city.
The pack turns onto a pedestrian bridge. A nondescript way of entering the city is on Government Island. It is less of a city entrance, and more of a MAX stop hidden among the trees.
We are in a sporty car designated for people with bicycles. We zoom overhead to the first stop, Gresham. As we rush onward toward the downtown area, an AI guide is helping us arrange our stay:
We’ll be staying at the Forest Parkview Apartments. We are helping out at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry tomorrow. We have an appointment at Portland Rock Gym the next day. After a day of rest/ planning, we will volunteer along with the Portland Group of Elders for a Day of Stewardship at Forest Park – 4 days of fun.
We thank our guide and get off at Pioneer Park, the living room. Hyung has directed us at the start of a new tradition. Each person goes to a different restaurant and orders several portions of take out. Then we divy up the portions in the outdoor space for a nice dinner. Life here moves at a very reasonable rate, with an air of confidence.
