In the view of some, we foolishly failed to adequately prepare for disaster. And here we are, back at stop number 7, having to replenish our supplies. And we have to revise our procedure for traveling through the prairie.
But in our view, we are explorers who live to learn from our mistakes (at least once or twice).
We are Vikings but not marauders. We are journeying west, but we are not monkey kings. We learn to live as one with the world, not to be separate from its perils.
We have fresh and updated food and a fire starter. And since wolves hunt bison at night, we re-scheduled the night-watch role.
